Thank you for visiting our website. As data protection is a high priority for us, we would like to inform you here about the possible use of personal data. It is possible to view our website without providing personal data, but under certain circumstances (e.g. contacting us by e-mail) data is processed that can be assigned to your person.
You are welcome to contact us personally for further information; you can do this electronically or by telephone.
You will find all the information you need to contact us in the legal notice.
1 Who is responsible for data processing, who can I contact?
The controller pursuant to Art. 4 No. 7 GDPR is:
Im Walpurgistal 127
The legislator requires the possibility of rapid electronic contact, which you can do via the e-mail address published here.
The e-mail you send is automatically saved, as is any personal data you provide voluntarily (e.g. name, telephone number, e-mail address), so that we can respond to your inquiry. Your personal data will not be passed on without your consent.
If there is no longer any need to store the data or if legally prescribed storage periods expire, personal data will be routinely deleted.
Please note that e-mails generally have the character of an electronic postcard and may be read by third parties during data transmission. Therefore, if possible, do not send any information via this channel that is very intimate or health-related. If you do not wish to take this risk, you are welcome to contact me by telephone.
2 What personal data is regularly collected simply by viewing the page?
The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail address) is collected on our website, this is always done – as far as possible – on a voluntary basis. We will not pass on your data to third parties without your express consent. We would also like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (such as communication via e-mail) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible. We hereby expressly object to the use of contact data published in the context of the imprint obligation by third parties for sending unsolicited advertising and information material. The operators of these pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.
This website automatically collects and stores a range of general data that is transmitted to us by your browser and stores it in so-called server log files.
This data may be collected:
- browser type/-version,
- operating system used,
- sub-pages of this website that are visited,
- referrer URL (the previously visited page),
- host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
- date and time of the server request,
- the Internet service provider of the accessing system
and other similar data and information that serve to avert danger in the event of attacks and ensure the secure and stable operation of the website.
This data cannot be assigned to specific persons by our company. This data is not merged with other data sources, and the data is deleted after a statistical evaluation.
The legal basis for data collection is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f GDPR, as we have a legitimate interest in data collection for the above-mentioned reasons.
In addition to the aforementioned data, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard disk and assigned to the browser you are using and through which certain information flows to the body that sets the cookie (in this case us). Cookies cannot execute programs or transfer viruses to your computer. They are used to make the website more user-friendly and effective overall. There are two types of cookies: permanent and temporary (session cookies).
The setting of cookies by our website can be prevented by making the appropriate settings in your browser. There you can also delete cookies that have been set at any time or activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If you prevent the setting of cookies by these settings, it is possible that not all functions of our website can be used to their full extent.
The legal basis for storing the data processed by cookies is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f GDPR. The processing is necessary to safeguard the legitimate interests of the controller or a third party.
Certain third-party content that is integrated via so-called plugins (e.g. Google Maps) may also set cookies. Information on this can be found in the section “Other functions and offers on our website / integration of third-party content (e.g. plug-ins)”
3 What rights do you have?
You have the following rights vis-à-vis us with regard to your personal data:
- Right of access (Art. 15 DS-GVO)
- Right to rectification or erasure (Art. 16, 17 DS-GVO),
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 DS-GVO),
- Right to object to processing (Art. 7, Abs. 3 DS-GVO),
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 DS-GVO).
You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us (Art. 77 DS-GVO).
4 Objection or revocation against the processing of your data
If you have given your consent to the processing of your data, you can withdraw this at any time. Such a revocation affects the permissibility of the processing of your personal data after you have given it to us.
If we base the processing of your personal data on the balancing of interests, you can object to the processing at any time without giving reasons. This is the case if, in particular, the processing is not necessary for the performance of a contract with you, which is described by us in the following description of the functions. When exercising such an objection, we nevertheless ask you to explain the reasons why we should not process your personal data as we have done. We will then examine the situation and will either stop or adapt the data processing or show you our compelling reasons worthy of protection on the basis of which we will continue the processing.
To exercise your right of revocation or objection, please send an e-mail to the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org
5 Further functions and offers of our website/integration of third-party content and offers
In addition to the purely informational elements of our website, our website also contains content from third-party providers, so-called plug-ins. Such plug-ins are important for the distribution of our content and have become the standard in the media world. We also use these services from other providers to present you with interesting and useful content.
When you surf our pages, your IP address and other technical information (see point 3 above) such as browser, operating system, etc. are recorded on our servers. The plug-in also records this data. If you are logged in to a social network or service provider (such as Google), the provider can assign your surfing behavior to your profile stored there. If you want to avoid this, you should always log out of the social network or service provider. In addition, the providers can place cookies on your device that enable them to log your surfing behaviour and recognize the device you are using to surf. We have already described above under point 2 how you can disable or delete cookies.
We use the Google Maps service on this website. This allows us to show you interactive maps on the website and enables you to use the map function conveniently.
When you visit the website, Google receives, among other things, the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the data mentioned in section 2 of this statement will be transmitted to Google, regardless of whether you are logged into a Google user account. If you are logged into a Google user account, your data will be assigned directly to this account. Google stores your data as user profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or the needs-based design of its own website.
You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles. To exercise your right to object, you must contact Google directly.
6 Liability for content
The contents of our pages have been created with the greatest care. However, we cannot accept any liability for the accuracy, completeness and topicality of the content. As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on these pages in accordance with § 7 para. 1 TMG (German Telemedia Act) and general laws. According to §§ 8 to 10 TMG, however, we as a service provider are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate illegal activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information in accordance with general legislation remain unaffected by this. However, liability in this respect is only possible from the time of knowledge of a specific infringement. As soon as we become aware of such infringements, we will remove this content immediately.
